هفت پیکر- حکایت گنبد صندلی:

یغماناز چینی در حکایت روز پنج شنبه که در گنبد صندلی نقل میشود، چنین میگوید:

 

دو جوان به نامهای خیر و شر، از شهر خود به سوی شهر دیگری به راه افتادند. خیر آذوقه اش را میخورد ولی شر نگه میداشت. به بیابانی رسیدند، شر، میدانست که آبی در آنجا نیست و مشکی آب را پنهان کرده بود. آب آشامیدنی خیر، تمام شد. بعد از مدتی فهمید که شر، مشکی پر از آب را پنهان کرده است. خیر دو گوهر با خود داشت و به شر پیشنهاد داد که آنها را بستاند و در عوض آنها، جرعه ای آب به او بدهد. او قبول نکرد و در عوض آب خواستار چشم های خیر شد. عاقبت نیز دشنه را در چشمان او کشید و گوهر و جامه اش را نیز برداشت و رفت.

مرد کُرد صحرا نشینی در آن اطراف زندگی میکرد که چهارپایان بسیاری داشت و گله اش را برای چرا به صحرا می آورد. او دختری زیبا داشت که در همان وقت برای آب آوردن رفته بود و صدای ناله به گوشش خورد. در جهت صدا رفت و خیر را پیدا کرد و سیرابش نمود. چشم های کنده شده اش را در چشم خانه نهاد و رویش را بست و او را به خانه برد و پرستاریش کرد شب که پدرش آمد و خیر را دید، به خاطر آورد که درختی هست که دو شاخه دارد و برگ های یک شاخه اش روشنی بخش چشم و برگ های شاخه ی دیگر، درمان صرع است. به درخواست دختر، به آنجا رفت و برگ ها را آورد و کوبید و مرهم کرد و روی چشمان خیر گذاشت. بعد از چند روز، چشمان او را باز کردند. نور به دیدگانش بازگشته بود. خیر در آن خانه ماند و قصه اش را برای مرد حکایت کرد. پس از چندی کم کم عاشق دختر کرد شد، ولی چون خود را لایق او نمیدانست، قصد خانه کرد. با این حال کُرد، دخترش را به زنی به او داد.

مدتی بعد، خیر دو کیسه از برگ های درخت پر کرد و به شهری رفتند که دختر پادشاه آن شهر، صرع داشت و هیچ کس نتوانسته بود او را درمان کند. شاه شرط کرده بود که هر کس او را شفا دهد دخترش را به زنی به او میدهد و هر کس که نتواند و چشمش به جمال دختر افتاده باشد، می میرد.

طبیبان بسیاری نیز جان خود را در این راه از دست داده بودند. خیر، داوطلب شد و برگ ها را سایید و شربتی ساخت و به دختر داد. دختر سه روز خوابید و وقتی بیدار شد سالم بود. شاه دختر را به زنی به او داد. وزیر نیز دختری زیبا داشت که آبله چشمانش را کور کرده بود. خیر با مرهمی اورا نیز شفاداد و او را نیز به زنی به خیر دادند. خیر زندگی شادی را در میان سه همسرش سپری میکرد و سرانجام به پادشاهی رسید. روزی هنگام رفتن به باغی، شر را دید. فرمود تا او را نزدش بردند. شر خود را مبشر معرفی کرد. خیر از او خواست تا نام واقعیش را بگوید. او نگفت، خیر به او گفت تو همانی هستی که تشنه ای را کور کردی و گوهرش را دزدیدی و من همان خیرم که بخت با من یار بود. شر، به التماس افتاد، خیر جانش را بخشید، ولی مرد کُرد شمشیر از نیام کشید و وی را کشت و دو گوهر را نزد خیر آورد و خیر آنها را به وی بخشید.

 

Thursday

Two young men by the names of Good ( Kheir) and Evil ( Shar), set off from their own city to another. Good, ate his foodstuffs but Evil kept them. They reached a desert, Evil knew than there could be found no water and he had hidden a water-skin. Good’s water was consumed. After a while he perceived that Evil has hidden a water-skin. Good had two gems with himself and proposed Evil to take them and give him a drink of water instead. He did not accept and demanded Good’s eyes in return for water. He finally blinded him with a dagger, took his gems and clothes and left.

A nomadic Kurd man lived thereabouts who had many beasts of burden and took his flock to the heath for grazing. He had a beautiful girl who had gone to fetch some water at the same time and the moaning came to her ears. She followed the direction of the sound, found Good and quenched his thirst. She put back his pulled off eyes in their place, bandaged them, took him home and nursed him. When her father came at night and saw Good, remembered that there was a tree which had two branches, the leaves of one branch illuminates the eyes and the leaves of the other, are the remedy of epilepsy. He went there as his daughter had requested, brought the leaves, pound them, made ad ointment and put on Good’s eyes. After a few days, they took off the bandage. Light had come back to his eyes. Good stayed in that house and told his story to the man. After a while he fell in love with the Kurd girl little by little. But as he did not consider himself deserving her, decided to return home. But the Kurd gave his daughter to him as a wife.

Some time later, Good filled up two bags with the tree’s leaves and they went to a city where its princess had epilepsy and nobody had been able to cure her. The king had stipulated that anyone who cure her, he would give his daughter as a wife to him and anyone who can not, and see the girl’s beauty, would die. Many doctors had lost their lives in this way. Good volunteered, pound the leaves, made syrup and gave it to the girl. The girl slept for three days and she was healthy when she woke up. The king gave his daughter to him as wife. The minister also had a beautiful daughter whose eyes had been blinded by smallpox. Good cured her too with an ointment and married her.

Good passed a happy life among his three wives and he reached finally the throne. Once while going to a garden, he saw Evil, ordered to take him there. Evil introduced himself as Mobasher. Good asked him to tell his real name. he did not. Good told him that you are the one who blinded a thirsty man and stole his gems and I’m the same Good who have been lucky. Evil began to implore, Good spared his life but the Kurd man took out his sword, killed him and brought the gems to Good. Good granted them to him.
